Biography
Sarah Scott (she/her/hers) is an Associate Zoning Planner with the Division of Zoning & Development in the City of Cambridge, MA’s Community Development Department. She serves as an assistant project manager for the Climate Resilience Zoning Task Force, which was tasked with recommending changes to the Cambridge Zoning Ordinance that would result in new development that is more resilient to climate change impacts. Sarah also reviews major development projects that come before the Planning Board and other neighborhood committees; analyzes proposed amendments to the Zoning Ordinance; staffs the Harvard Square Advisory Committee; studies potential zoning strategies to advance the City’s planning and policy goals; and develops tools to educate and inform the public about topics related to zoning. She holds an AB from Vassar College, and MCP and MSHP degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
