Sandeep Langar

Sandeep Langar, Ph.D., LEED AP, is an Assistant Professor in the College of Architecture, Construction and Planning at The University of Texas at San Antonio. He received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in 2013. His research interests are focused towards holistically evaluating adoption and implementation of sustainable strategies and technologies, analyzing the implementation of sustainability measurement tools (such as LEED), and Information Technologies Concepts such as Building Information Modeling (BIM) to enhance the resilience of built facilities against natural hazards. Dr. Langar has authored more than thirty peer-reviewed journal and conference publications and worked on funded research projects exceeding quarter-million dollars. He also has collaborated with multiple stakeholders from the public and private sectors for the areas mentioned earlier.
