Dr. Vidya Samadi

Dr. Samadi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Sciences at Clemson University. Prior to joining Clemson University, she was a faculty member at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of South Carolina as well as at the School of Engineering, Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Much of her current academic research are focused on surface water computational modeling, flood forecasting, and Big Data analytics. Dr. Samadi’s industry research concentrates around Geographic Information System (GIS) software development, web/ mobile application development, and web programming. Research sponsors include NSF, Savannah River National Lab, and SCDOT.”
