Biography

Dana received a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources with a concentration in Applied Ecology and Management from Cornell University and a Master in Landscape Architecture from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Prior to graduate school she worked for 5 years in residential energy efficiency and solar before she felt the pull to work with plants and the outside world again. At Harvard she was awarded a Penny White grant to study the composition of melting glaciers in Glacier National Park and a community service fellowship to work on greenway planning for Mystic River Watershed Association. Her graduate school work focused on regenerative planting design, cyclical systems and rethinking green infrastructure to create more resiliency for a changing climate.
