Biography

Ryan Clark is an Archaeologist with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District (SAJ).  Ryan has worked as a professional archaeologist since 2010, throughout the Mid-Atlantic and the Southeast.  As a part of SAJ, Ryan has been actively managing water resources planning assignments at the Corps and oversees the incorporation of cultural resource concerns in project planning, design and implementation.  While at SAJ, he has been envisioning creative, cost-effective ways to initiate multi-agency and stakeholder dialogues concerning the effects of sea-level rise and cultural resources. Ryan’s background is in mortuary archaeology, coastal versus interior settlement and gender negotiations as a cause of social change
