Madeleine Helmer recently completed a dual Masters in Historic Preservation and City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania School of Design. Specializing in land use and environmental planning, she focuses her research on climate adaptation planning for historic communities. Madeleine is passionate about natural and cultural heritage, and committed to urban planning that connects communities with their surrounding landscape and contributes to social and ecological resilience.
