Biography

Lori Lee is an Associate Professor of Anthropology at Flagler College. Dr. Lee is an anthropological archaeologist and her research interests include slavery, consumerism, gender, memory, migration, and climate change. Her professional experience includes working as a field and lab archaeologist at a nonprofit historical house museum in Virginia, time with the National Park Service in the Virgin Islands, and eleven years in an academic setting. In these various capacities, she has worked with diverse stakeholders while engaged in archaeological research, practice, and public outreach. Lee’s research approach involves community-based, multidisciplinary projects that incorporate public outreach and community engagement.
