Kate Derickson

Kate Derickson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Environment and Society at the University of Minnesota and the co-Director of the CREATE Initiative, which aims to transform institutions of higher education to be more effective collaborators with communities that have not traditionally shaped academic research agendas to address our most pressing questions around environmental futures.  Dr. Derickson has been a member of the Gullah/Geechee Sustainability Think Tank since 2013.
