Jie Huang

Jie Huang, Ph.D., P.E., is Associate Professor in Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is specialized in construction materials and geotechnical engineering. He is the committee member of ASCE G-I Soil Improvement Committee and Geosynthetics Committee.  He serves editorial boards of ASCE Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering and Geotextiles and Geomembranes. He has over 60 technical papers published in prestigious journals and influential conference.  His researches were supported by over 1.5 million funding from various agencies, covering the topic of building foundation, roadways, and construction materials.
