Biography

Dr. Harry Kemp’s qualitative doctoral study on natural disasters earned him the Frank Dilley Award from Walden University in addition to international exposure. According to a Scholar Works Readership Report, the study derived from The Survival of Small Businesses in Northeastern Florida After A Natural Disaster has amassed over 400 downloads worldwide. This study can act as a guide to businesses on a global scale, providing preventative techniques and tips in the event of a natural disaster. Dr. Kemp is a 25-year retired fire rescue officer, and he is currently, an Adjunct Professor in the Management and Technology Department at Walden University.
