Erin Minnigan

Biography

Erin Minnigan is the Director of Historic Preservation for the Preservation Society of Charleston (PSC) in South Carolina. In this role, Erin oversees the PSC’s planning and zoning advocacy, and preservation programs, which further the organization’s mission to serve as a strong advocacy leader for citizens concerned about preserving Charleston’s distinctive character, quality of life, and diverse neighborhoods. She previously managed architectural review boards and oversaw special preservation and planning projects for local governments with the City of Charleston and City of St. Augustine. Erin has an undergraduate degree in historic preservation/community planning from the College of Charleston, and master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Florida. She lives in downtown Charleston and enjoys planning fun events with the Young Preservationists of Charleston, and exploring historic and natural places off the beaten path.
