Charles Sullivan has been the executive director of the Cambridge Historical Commission since 1974. He is a member of the Massachusetts Historical Commission and a former Trustee of the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities. He is also a past president of the Cambridge Historical Society. He is co-author of A Photographic History of Cambridge (1984), Maintaining Your Old House in Cambridge (1988), and Building Old Cambridge: Architecture & Development (2016). Mr. Sullivan holds an AB in Geography from Dartmouth College and received a Master of City Planning degree from Harvard University.
